Reservations now being taken for 6th Annual “Thinking Outside the Box” Seminar for Non-Profits
Event on 2015-08-14 08:30:00
(June 26, 2015 – Naples, FL) Reservations are now being taken for the sixth annual “Thinking Outside the Box” (TOB) seminar for local non-profit organizations in Collier County. The free seminar will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Naples Daily News Community Room located at 1100 Immokalee Road in Naples.

Sue Huff, owner of E. Sue Huff and Associates, Inc. Marketing and Management Consulting, along with Kelly E. Capolino PA, local real estate professional with Downing Frye and founder of the Diamond Volunteer program, will again be presenting the seminar for non-profit staff and board members.

TOB will offer creative marketing and fundraising suggestions for non-profit staff, board members and volunteers. The event has filled quickly in past years so reservations will be limited to two people per organization in order to accommodate the many different charities in Collier County.

This year’s theme “Telling the Story” will feature seven speakers and a special guest keynote presenter. Each will be presenting topics that explore storytelling, the power of the story and the best way to create a powerful impact.

The keynote speaker, Xian Horn, will open the seminar by telling her own personal story. Horn serves as teacher, speaker, mentor, blogger and Exemplar for the AT&T NYU Connect Ability Challenge for the creation of Assistive Technology. Her Give Beauty Wings’ self-esteem programs originated and continue at NYU's Initiative for Women with Disabilities, the Jewish Community Center Manhattan, and M.S. 131 in Chinatown. Horn also runs vocational workshops for the NYC Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities and has been featured in Fast Company, The White House Blog, NPR, and NBC News among others.

Helping to make the event possible this year are sponsors: Allegra Naples, Guerilla Media, Scott Robertson Auctioneer, Social Connect and Vi at Bentley Village.

Speakers scheduled for Thinking Outside the Box 2015 are:

• Sue Huff, owner of E. Sue Huff & Associates Inc. Marketing and Management Consulting
• Penny Fisher, Naples Daily News Associate Editor
• Scott Robertson, Auctioneer
• Matt Dykes, President of Guerilla Media
• Paul Kessen, President of Allegra of Naples
• Batya Maman, Owner of Social Connect
• Kelly E. Capolino P.A., Realtor and Founder of the Diamond Volunteer Programs
