Rightfully Sewn is proud to provide the following opportunities to Fashion Designers, Professional Seamstresses, Home Sewers, Students, and Sewn Product Manufacturers in Kansas City and the Midwest region: –Two-day fabric tradeshow featuring fabrics, notions, and trims at showroom prices from The Sourcing District (Friday, October 16 and Saturday, 17 from 10 am – 6 pm) The Sourcing District is a national industry leader in providing garment construction necessities. Jay Arbetman started his career at 14 years old as a “picker” at his parent’s coat factory in Chicago. He travels the country connecting clients with a wide selection of quality fabrics with continuity from a wide range of suppliers. His offerings will also include notions, labels, hang tags, size tabs, care labels, custom printed trims, zippers, buttons, hardware, and more. –Full-day professional development seminar featuring fashion development and production company, V.Mora (Saturday, October 17 from 10 am – 5 pm) Anna Livermore founded V. Mora in 2008 out of a passion for helping new and emerging designers. What started as a one-woman operation out of Anna’s Chicago apartment grew to a staff of 12 with offices in two cities and clients all over America. She has perfected the process of launching a fashion line by working with the country’s best pattern makers, fabric vendors, sample makers, production managers, manufacturers, models, and photographers.
